Photography is purely a hobby for me. I mostly enjoy it in my spare time, on weekends away, or during holidays.
My favorite types of photography are animals, landscapes, and travel. I especially enjoy capturing nature and peaceful, quiet locations.
I currently shoot full-frame with a Canon mirrorless camera. Before that, I used cameras with smaller APS-C sensors. Most of my photos were taken with Canon’s 1.6x APS-C, but I’ve also used Fuji’s 1.5x APS-C system.
I began photography with a small compact camera — the Sony DSC-P7. But the real passion started in 2005 when I bought my first DSLR: the Canon EOS 350D. That’s when photography truly became a hobby.
Other questions
There’s so much to see in Europe, which is why I mainly focus on exploring this beautiful continent. That said, I’m always open to traveling beyond Europe too. Japan and an African safari are definitely still on my travel list.
My main hobby is going outside for hikes, always with my camera ready. I love exploring new places with scenic views. When the weather isn’t great, I enjoy Sim Racing, RC cars and playing games indoors. It’s a perfect balance.
