Since I was young we went with the Family on Holiday in different countries in Europe, but it was mostly to Switzerland and later to the South of France. But that was almost always to the same camping, so not much variety. The last 10 years the Holidays changed to visit a new region each time. That have been trips to more countries like France, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Portugal, Greece and many more in Europe.
Especially the last few years I also started to like hiking a lot more. With the Internet these days it’s also much easier to find some great places to visit. Not always the best because in some cases you will not be the only one and can get very busy with other tourists. But this way I have seen a lot more places in the last years when exploring Europe. But there is still a lot more to explore, see for that My Bucketlist with places I still want to see in the future.
Because I started to like hiking a lot more I always like to plan my hikes a bit upfront. This to prevent you take a to difficult route in the mountains for example, when you are not prepared. So on Outdooractive I find/plan my routes, here you can already have a good idea how difficult a route will be. When route is finished, I then download the GPX to my phone and then Watch. Then during the hike I have the route on my Watch to follow. On the map you will then also find some of the routes I hiked.
